Rosa Lee "Jackie" Scott Bobbitt , 83, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born December 22, 1930 at Page, WV she was the daughter of the late John C. Scott, Sr. and Hiley Dunfee Scott Jackie was a member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene and was a homemaker. Her husband, Alonzo Lawrence "Buckie" Bobbitt; four sisters, Kathleen Scott, Virginia McKinney, Juanita Goode and Paully Scott and two brothers-in-law, Henry McKinney and Leo Goode preceded her in death. Survivors include her two children, Bonnie Alvarran and husband, John of Oak Hill and John Bill "Billy" Bobbitt and wife, Pam of California; and one brother, John C. Scott, Jr. and wife, Hope of Oak Hill. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jacqueline Tyree, Michael Bobbitt, Joni Watson, Jolene Clark and Matthew Bobbitt and seventeen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
