Ronald Dale "Ronnie" Chambers, 80, of Hotchkiss, went home to be with the Lord at the Raleigh Center following a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
Born July 13, 1944 at Asco, WV, he was the son of the late L.T. and Lucille (Wooten) Chambers.
Ronnie was a former coalminer and employee of Mullens Grocery, He was a member of the Lester First Church of God. In his leisure, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his first wife, Diane Rinehart Chambers; and three nephews, Justin Johnson, Tim Stewart, and Nolan Rinehart.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sharen Tilley Chambers; two daughters, Terri Rhoden (John) of Tennessee and Traci Cook of Slab Fork; two sisters, Grace Johnson of Hotchkiss and Pam Stewart of Pempence, MI; five grandchildren, Heather Mays, Buddy Rhoden; Patrick Rhoden, Matthew Rhoden, and Jayson Rhoden; six great grandchildren and one on the way; and a nephew, Jason Rinehart who was like a son.
Services will be 1:00P.M., Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Lester First Church of God with Pastor Dale Birchfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Goode Family Cemetery, Saulsville.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
Pallbearers will be John Rhoden, Marty Sutphin, Jason Rinehart, Buddy Patrick, and Matthew Rhoden.
