Ronald Lionel Workman, 81, of Mt. Nebo, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 in a Charleston hospital. 

Born March 7, 1943, at Gamoca, he was the son of the late Obie and Freda Mae (Jones) Workman. 

Ronald was retired from Cleveland Illuminating Company and the West Virginia Turnpike and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a 18 year member of the Grace World Church, Brooksville, FL and attended the Restoration Fellowship, Mt. Nebo for the past seven months. Ronald was involved in building several churches in West Virginia, Ohio, and Florida. He loved working for the Lord. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working, but most of all he loved his family. He enjoyed going to the Dairy Queen for ice-cream Dilly Bars which were his favorite. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Steven Workman; and his grandson, Zachary Tellep. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving a devoted wife, Lois (Hughes) Workman; his three daughters, Felicia Travis (Allen), Pamela Seaman (Doug), and Lori Ferguson (Doug); his five grandchildren, Trent Travis, Jordan Travis (Haylie), Kyle Seaman (Summer), Jacob Tellep (Tori), and Kacy Link; his three great grandchildren, Isaiah Travis, Jackson Tellep, and Jollie Seaman; three sisters, Sandra Harrah (Gary), Brenda George (Franklin), and Beverly DeYoung (Bruce); and three brothers, Gene Workman (Lana), Dwight Workman, and Joseph Workman. 

Services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, May 3, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Rev. Douglas Seaman and Rev. Allen Travis officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.  

Pallbearers will be Trent Travis, Jordan Travis, Kyle Seaman, Jake Tellep, and Kacy Link.
