Roger Allen Tyree

Roger Allen Tyree, 74, of Cirtsville, WV, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at his residence from complications of Liver disease. Born August 3, 1939 at Cirtsville, he was the son of the late Ray and Lillian Maynor Tyree. He was a Coal miner with Cannelton Coal and was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Ramona Lou Williams Tyree of Cirtsville; one son, Ray Allen Tyree of Cirtsville; two daughters; Becky Ormandy of Sand Branch, WV and Jane Cardin of Salem, VA.; Seven Grandchildren; Keith Tyree, Kayla Martin, Christopher Horton, Joshua Horton, Jack Cardin, Shanon Ormandy and Nick Ormandy. And one great-grandchild Silas Martin. Also two brothers; Harry “Pete” Tyree of Beckley, WV and Wayne Tyree of Falling Waters, WV and one sister, Ramona Abshire of Cirtsville, WV. Roger was also preceded in death by brother John Tyree and two sisters, Jean Sutphin and Wanda Toney. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 22, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope, WV with Rev. Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Maynor Cemetery,Cirtsville, WV.
