Roger Jay Stover, age 65, of Clear Creek Road, Dorothy, WV, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at his residence. Born April 17, 1944 at Ameagle, WV, he was the son of the late Samp and Beatrice Williams Stover. Mr. Stover was a former coal miner and timber cutter. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Shelby Stover, Truman Williams and Curtis Stover and by one sister, Tressie Williams. Surviving are his son, Greg Stover of Sweeneysburg, his three daughters, Tina Kincaid of Scarbro, Amy Ayers of Mt; Hope and Shelby Bowyer of Cirtsville, WV, former wife, Roberta Williams Stover of Sweenesburg, WV, two brothers, Robert Williams of Pleasant Prairie, Wis. and Coolidge Stover of Montcove, WV, his sister, Shirley Estep and her husband Ronald of Dorothy, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Roger will be sadly missed by many family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Tyree Funeral Home, Mt. Hope, WV, with Rev. Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodge Cemetery at Artie, WV. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Brian, Stephen and Charlie Williams, Jason and Tommy Estep and Greg Bowyer. In lieu of flowers the family ask that contributions be sent to Tyree Funeral Home, 701 Hwy. 21, Mt.
