Roger Joe Sharp

Roger Joe Sharp , 72, of Scarbro, WV died on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his home. Born March 29, 1938 at Milburn, WV he was the son of the late Jesse Cammeron and Dessie Marie Woodson Sharp. He was a retired coal miner having worked at Milburn. Mr. Sharp was a US Army veteran and a member of the U.M.W.A. A daughter, Angela Dawn Sharp preceded him in death on May 3, 2000. He was also preceded by two sisters, Mildred Dravenstott and an infant sister and by two brothers, Russell and Allen Ray Sharp. Survivors include two brothers, Raymond Sharp of Pasadena, MD and Paul "Tiny" Sharp of Finksburg, MD and by several nieces and nephews. A memorial services will be on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. with Rev. Michael Lantz officiating.
