Roger Lee Dye , 73, of Beckwith, WV died on Saturday, June 01, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
Born August 25, 1945 at Walton, WV he was the son of the late James Preston and Beulah E. Wright Dye.
Roger was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting the "old family farm" in Roane County.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Shirley J. Greathouse. Also, a brother, James Allen Dye, who preceded him in death 13 days prior on May 19, 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Ellen Rhodes Dye to whom he was married 50 years, 7 months and 20 days; daughter, Melissa Cox (Andy); son, Brian Dye; sisters, Georgia A. Shafer and Donna Board (James); and grandchildren, Brayden Wayne Cox and Wesley Lee Cox - who were his greatest joy.
To honor Roger's wishes there will be no services but he will join his brother in eternal life from the farm in Roane County.
