Roger Lee Davis

Roger Lee Davis , 61, of Scarbro, WV died on Saturday, June 05, 2010 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born February 25, 1949 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Vaden and Bonnie Coleman Davis. Roger was a 1967 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill. He was a member of Oak Hill Lodge No. 120 A.F. and A.M. and Sewell Chapter No. 24 R.A.M.. A brother, Vaden "Chick" Davis preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Amanda Davis of Oak Hill; son, Joesph R. Davis and wife, Melonie of Kenley, NC; his former wife, Marjorie Lou Hatcher Davis and four grandchildren, Jacob, Danielle, Maci and Paisley. Also surviving are two aunts, Lessie Wriston of Oak Hill and Dana Wriston of Fayetteville and his best friend, Mike Walton. Mr. Davis was cremated. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
