Roger Lynn Baxter

Roger Lynn Baxter , 46, of Pax, WV died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born July 10, 1966 at Petersburg, VA he was the son of and Loraine Wriston Baxter of Pax, WV and the late Leonard Edward Baxter. He was a heavy equipment operator. His paternal grandparents, Lula and Raymond Baxter and maternal grandparents, Clara and Albert Wriston preceded him in death. In addition to his mother, Roger is survived by his wife, Georgetta Kay Walker Baxter, sister, Venesa Addington and husband, David of Pax, two brothers, Teddy Baxter and wife, Ellie of Scarbro and Charles Baxter of Staunton, VA, five nephews and two nieces. Funeral services will be on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Willis Branch Community Church with Rev. Jerry Tyree officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Willis Branch Community Church on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
