Roger Dale Allen

Roger Dale Allen , 67, of Mount Hope, WV died on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born October 20, 1947 at Harvey, WV he was the son of the late Leslie and Elizabeth Sheaves Allen.

He was the owner and contractor with R.D. Allen Belt Service.

Roger was a life-long sportsman and outdoors-man. He loved NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Frankie Allen and a sister, Wanda Lafferty

Survivors include four sons, Roger Allen of Oak Hill, Michael Allen and wife, Kathy of Oak Hill, Rodney Allen and wife, Amanda of Maple Fork and Robert Allen and wife, Denise of Oak Hill; one daughter, Mary Katherine Sizemore and husband, Mike of Ocala, FL; his significant other, Elizabeth L. Laws; and five sisters, Mary Dixon and husband, David of Mount Hope, Dixie Williamson and husband, Charles of Scarbro, Madeline Williams and husband, Phillip of Maple Fork, Dreama Davidson and husband, Rich of Columbus, OH and Gloria Adkins and husband, Junior of Maple Fork.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Roger Pauley officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Roger will be cremated following the service.
