Rocky Dale Davis passed away on the morning of October 31, 2021 at his home. Rocky lived his life for his family and was always someone that lightened the mood in any situation, he was unapologetically his loud funny slightly inappropriate self.
Anyone who knew Rocky knew that he was a jokester, whose favorite phrases included “WAKA KNOCKA” “ZING BLONG PRING PRONG ALIGATOR SING SONG” and his classic “GOD LOVES YA”
Rocky was always a hard worker he worked in the coal mines for many years as well as working along side his brothers at the family business known as Davis Auto since he was a young man. After he retired he became a full time professional grandfather & best friend to his Carlee Jane . He would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved to play virtual poker, drink coffee and watch westerns.
He was a great and loving father, husband, grandfather and friend.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Dink & Patsy Davis as well as his beloved grandson, Justin Davis. All of which we know he is now reunited with in heaven.
Rocky was survived by the love of his life his wife of 25 years Susie Davis, as well as his children - daughters, Ashley Davis– Nichols (Tammy) and Stacey Underwood; sons, Johnny Davis (Mia), Gary Underwood and Brandon Davis; brothers: Jeff Davis (Sherry), Dinky Davis and Gary "Bones" Underwood; and sisters, Donna Copley (Jim) and Connie Meadows (Jerry).
Also surviving are his grandchildren - Carlee, Kennedy, Samantha (Justin), Hayley, Brenna, Morgan, Rebecca, Autumn, Kingston and Knoxlee; one great granddaughter, Ada Naomi; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
Rocky was loved by so many because he loved and cared for so many through his lifetime ~ wherever he went there were jokes and laughter. He left a lasting impression and funny memories. He will be missed greatly.
