Robert Lee Wingrove

Robert Lee Wingrove, 77, of Maple Fork, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 following complications from Covid.
Born on August 8, 1945 in Pax, WV he was the son of the late Oather "Waterbury" and Thelma Wingrove.
Robert was a 1963 graduate of Mount Hope High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for many years as a machinist for Daily Saw Service of Orange County, CA. Robert was a devoted husband, loving step-father, and proud grandfather. He enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, watching home improvement shows and reading the weekly Mt. Trader. He was also a master of the lawn and made a great cup of coffee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jerry Wingrove of CA; two sisters, Sandra Johnson of MN and Rita Allen of Pax; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Wingrove of Pax.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, of 33 years, Jane Wingrove; brother, Denny Wingrove of Pax; sister, Luann Thornquest of Pax; three step-children, Rodney Williams of Beckley, Sandra (Jeff) Williams of Maple Fork, and Leah Williams of Maple Fork; four grandchildren, Dakota (Kayla) Wriston of Beckley, Logan (Bryana) Wriston of Beckley, Chase (Rachel) Williams of Beckley and Cooper Williams of Beckley; three great-grandchildren, Jonah, Owen, and Harper Wriston of Beckley; and many nieces and nephews.
Per Robert's wishes, there will be no services.
