Robert Raymond Rinehart

Robert Raymond Rinehart “Bob”, 76, of Dixie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 surrounded by his family. 

Bob was born on June 14, 1947 in Mossy, WV to Dallas and Maggie Agnes (Aliff) Rinehart.

Robert was a retired Army Veteran and Coalminer. He was an avid hunter and most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Mountain View Church of God. 

Bob was proceeded in death by his parents Dallas and Agnes (Aliff) Rinehart, grandparents Luther and Arvada Rinehart, Clayton and Maggie Aliff, brother in law Darrell Zutaut, and grand daughter Chelsie Horrocks. 

Bob is survived by his wife Linda (Jarrett) Rinehart of fifty three years and his daughters, Cheryl Rinehart of Dixie and Danielle (Rinehart) Horrocks with husband Tommy Horrocks of Dixie.  Also his grandchildren, Zachary Horrocks and fiancé Brooklyn of Dixie, Alexa Horrocks of Charleston, Jordan Horrocks of Dixe and  great grand daughter Wrenlee Horrocks of Dixie. Brothers include Thomas “Dude” Rinehart (Lisa)  of Pax and Ralph Rinehart (Kellie) of Mossy, sisters Aquilla Zutaut of Oak Hill, Tammy Gibson (Mark) of Oak Hill and Annell Evans (Roger) of Oak Hill, Uncle JP Aliff and wife June of Oak Hill and a great number of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Visitation for friends will be on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Kevin Taylor. 

His place of internment will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, located on Pea Ridge Road in Oak Hill.
