Robert Leon Phillips

Robert "Bob" Leon Phillips , 67, of Maple Fork, WV died on Monday, May 14, 2012 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV of an apparent heart attack. Born October 27, 1944 at Maple Fork, WV he was the son of the late Joseph Robert and Nancy Vannoy Phillips. He was a retired dairy farmer and retired from Fairchild International with 20 years service. A son, Adam Lilly and three sisters, Joan Carol Meccariello, Ulia Mae Bowyer and Marie O. Clements preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Robert "Robby" Dale Phillips of Maple Fork, one brother, Joseph D. Phillips and wife, Lee of Maple Fork and two sisters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Reggi and husband, Dwight of Maple Fork, and Mary Jane Tolbert and husband Leslie of Virginia. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Phillips Cemetery (near the Louden Tyree Cemetery) at Maple Fork. with Rev. Johnny Catlett officiating.
