Robert Curl Nutter , 67, of Layland, WV died on Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home.
Born September 07, 1950 at Leivasy, WV he was the son of the late Perry Wilson and Mabel Virginia Berry Nutter.
Robert was a US Army vetern having served 23 years with two tours of duty in Vietnam and one tour of duty in Desert Storm. He later was a cook at Pipestem Resort and did mine security. He was a member of the Chestnut Baptist Church, Layland.
A brother, Thomas Nutter and sister, Rita Workman preceded him in death.
Survivors include siblings, Wayne (Anna) Nutter of Sand Branch, Doris (Larry) Lego of Danese, Charles A. (Rosie) Nutter of Minden, John Nutter of Maple Fork, David (Angie) Nutter of Louisville, KY, Larry Nutter of Hilltop, Sue (Scotty) Strohn of Hilltop, and Teresa (Cassidy) Lutz of Hilltop; and his caregivers, Kasie Wells, Stephanie Berry, Cheri Payton and Ann Lego.
Services will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Wayne Nutter officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity.
Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Family and friends may serve as pallbearers.
