Robert Clemens Mcguffin

Robert Clemens McGuffin, age 87, of Oak Hill, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Hilltop Health Care Center at Hilltop, WV. Born April 13, 1922 at Thurmond, WV, he was the son of the late Claymus and Ethel Samples McGuffin. Robert was a retired house painter and was a veteran having served with the US Navy. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Tommy, Glen, John and James McGuffin and by three sisters, Harriett Bishop, Mary Sue Hash and Joyce Ann McGuffin. Surviving are his wife, Gracie Davis McGuffin of Oak Hill; son, James Wesley McGuffin of Shreveport, Texas; two brothers, Emory Wayne McGuffin of Oak Hill and Ritchie McGuffin of Prince Frederick, MD; and three sisters, Maggie Anderson of Hill Top, Jean Sumner of Grants, NM and Betty Campbell of Phoenix, Arizona. Committal services with entombment to follow will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating.
