Robert Ray Johnston, 59, of Page, WV passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, Summersville, WV.
Born June 05, 1962, in Fort Benning, GA he was the son of the late Willard Martin Johnston and Linda Faye Lanham Johnston Bowyer.
Robert was truck driver and also worked in the coal mines. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved to fish. Most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by brother-in-law, Howard King.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Cindy Shrewsbury Johnston; children, Faye Johnston Mann (Shawn), Lyndsay Johnston Raynes (Steve), Catherine Dooley (Bill), and Nathanal Williamson (Leona); step father, Floyd Jasper Bowyer; eighteen grand and great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Martin Wayne Johnston (Angel); and sisters, Michelle Cochran (Eddie) and Lisa King.
In keeping with his wishes Robert will be cremated and a memorial service will be 1:00 PM Monday, September 6, 2021 at the Robson Freewill Baptist Church in Robson, WV with Pastor James Bowles officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
While masks are not required you might consider wearing one before entering the building as we all attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19.
