Robert Carl Haga

Robert Carl Haga  89 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Carl worked for Norfork Southern Railway for 44 years as a engineer. After retiring in 1996 he enjoyed riding ATV's and spending time with his family.

He was born on April 3, 1934 in Stephenson, WV. son of the late William "Squire" Haga and the late Mary Ines Walls Haga. He married the love of his life on September 22, 1956.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Lane Haga; and his grandson, Justin Janes; his brothers, William "Bill" Haga, James "Cotton" Haga and Wayne "Red" Haga; sisters, Louise Haga Mclean, Kay Haga, Sanford and Norma Jean Haga Akers.

He is survived by his son, Robert C. "Buck" Haga, Jr. and his wife Carla; daughter, Angelia Harper; grandson, Dylan Harper and his Alexis; sisters Evelyn Haga Mills, Margaret "Tina" Varejcka; and brother, William R. Haga, Jr.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Welton Bible Chapel in Allen Junction with Pastor David Ingram officiating. Burial will follow at the Milam Cemetery on Barkers Ridge.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the church.
