Robert Steven Campbell

Robert Steven Campbell, 68, of Charleston, formerly of Oak Hill, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at the residence of his brother surrounded by his loving family. 

Born March 18, 1956, at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Raymond and Vera Vivian (Bishop) Campbell. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brother, Ray Campbell. 

Although Robert was very quiet by nature he loved to watch the Disney Channel and antenna tv were his favorite. He was a collector of metal model cars and puppets. He knew his Bible, loved listening to music, singing, and having books read to him. He enjoyed going to the movie theater and had super sonic hearing where he could hear conversations while being in other rooms. He especially loved attending church when he was able and liked to comment on his brother, Rodney's sermons.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Joyce Hardin of Columbus, OH; brother, Pastor Rodney Campbell and his wife, Sharon of Charleston; nieces and nephews, Kevin and Jennifer Campbell-White, Aaron Campbell and Robin Proctor, Seth and Joey Campbell, Matthew and Kristina Campbell, Josh and Dana Campbell, Rebekah Clifford, Billy and Allison Hardin, and Jason Hardin; numerous great nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Sandy Campbell.

Services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, February 14, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Pastor Rodney Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
