Robert Lee Bragg , 68, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, May 04, 2014 at Hilltop Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hilltop, WV. Born March 16, 1946 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Charles Ernie and Mildred J. Hager Bragg. He was a retired Plant Operator for WV American Water Company. ]Mr. Bragg was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV, A man of many interests, Robert was a ham radio operator and enjoyed photography. He was a former member of the Army National Guard, 150th Armored Cavalry. He loved singing with the Messenger's Quartet. As the last surviving member of his immediate family Robert was preceded in death by brother, Charles E. Bragg, Jr. and sister, Carol Sue Berlin. Survivors include his wife, Diana L. Waddell Bragg; one son, Robert E. Bragg of Oak Hill; daughter, Debbie Bragg Campbell and husband, P.J. of Gladys, VA; three grandchildren, Abby, Caedmon and Caleb Campbell; uncle, Bill Hagar of Richmond, VA; aunt, Naomi Altizer of Canebrake and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Mark Wood and Rev. Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill with military rites by the Oak Hill VFW Post 3110. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Tyree Funeral Home, 999 Jones Avenue, Oak Hill, WV to assist the family with funeral expenses.
