Robert A. "Bob" Skaggs

Robert "Bob" Alden Skaggs, 78, of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at his home. Born May 14, 1931 at Montgomery, WV he was the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Cavendish Skaggs. He was the former owner of B&B Ambulance Company. Mr. Skaggs was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. His wife, Billie Kaye Gilbert Skaggs preceded him in death on March 19, 2008. Survivors include sons, David Skaggs of Oak Hill, Alan Skaggs of Oak Hill, Robert Skaggs, II of North Carolina and Gary Payne of Virginia; daughters, Michelle Miller of Oak Hill, Angel Skaggs of Fayetteville, Melissa Malay of Page and Bobbie Skaggs of Oak Hill; one brother, Milburn Skaggs of Liberty, TX and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Hill with Willie Marshall officiating.
