Robert A. Anderson

Robert Allen Anderson, 68, of Sanger, WV died on Monday, April 28, 2008 at his home. Born March 23, 1940 at Russellville, WV he was the son of the late Claude and Blanche Dora Parks Anderson. He was a retired carpenter. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the US Army. A brother, Billy Anderson and a sister, Betty Neal preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Teresa Ann Howington Anderson; one daughter, Blanche Enola Anderson of Sanger; one stepson, Billy Harold Gill of Sanger; two brothers, Kenneth Anderson of Oak Hill and Jesse Anderson of Ansted and one sister, Rose Smith of Ansted. Services will be on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. David Sneed officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV with military graveside rites by VFW Post #3110, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
