Rita Ann Goff

Rita Ann Ellison Goff, of Asbury WV, (formerly of Houston, TX and Belle, WV), 86, passed away on July 31, 2023 at her residence.  Rita was retired after working as a nurse in Houston,  and then in home health care in Lewisburg.   She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 15 years, Rodney Dalton Goff; her parents,  Charles Fredrick and Beatrice Poston Ellison,; and brothers, Charles Herbert “Fred” Ellison and George Harrison Ellison.

Left to cherish her memory include her nieces,  Katherine Ellison and Darla Smith; nephew Glenn Ellison, cousins, Sherry Swann,  Rose Grove, Tim Ellison, Irene Walker, and Darlene Cabrera;  and stepson, Steven Goff.

Memorial services will be held on her birthday at 11 AM, Thursday,  October 19, 2023 at Dothan Community Chapel in Scarbro, with Rev. Randy W. Smith  officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour before the memorial service on Thursday at the chapel.
