Richard Arthur Riser

Richard Arthur Riser, age 65, of Oak Hill, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.
Born March 15, 1952 at Carlisle, WV, he as the son of Ruth Roberts Riser of Oak Hill and the late William Riser, Sr.
Mr. Riser was a former coal miner and self employed contractor. He was member of St. Paul's Baptist Church in Beckley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnnie Dale Riser of Marlinton, WV
Left to cherish his memory along with his mother are his wife, Delores Kay Burnette Riser of Oak Hill; his two sons, Spencer Allen Riser of Beckley and Tracy Dean Riser of Union City, Indiana.; his two step sons, Mark Christopher Snodgrass and Matthew Kenneth Snodgrass, both of Beckley; his two brothers, William Robert Riser, Jr. and Michael Blaine Riser both of Oak Hill and his only sister, Carol Jean Riser Lester of Oak Hill. Also surviving are his five grandchildren, Tyler Matthew Goins, Katlyn Miranda Piercy, Joshua Riser, Justin Ryan Riser and Logan Riser and his great grandchildren, Grayson Lee Piercy, Amaras Piercy and Brayden Keith Riser.
In honoring Richards's wishes he will be cremated . A private family memeorial service was held at the Carlisle Church of God.
