Our loving and most loved husband, son, father, brother and grandfather Richard Wayne "Richie" Craigo , 41, of Mullens, WV formerly of Oak Hill, WV left this world to finally be at peace on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home. Born November 18, 1969 at Cherry Point, NC he was the son of Richard Burl Craigo and his wife, Jean Harris Craigo of Oak Hill, WV and Rita M. Turner Lee and fiance, Rene' Vorberg of Pax, WV. An avid WVU fan, he enjoyed hunting and fishing but mostly spending time with his family. His grandkids were the love of his life. Richie worked as a roofer. When attending church he went to the Spirit and Truth Ministries in Oak Hill. While growing up he attended the Jones Avenue First Church of God in Oak Hill. He was a 1988 graduate of Oak Hill High School. His paternal grandparents, Elbin and Alberta Craigo and his Papa Karl Harris, maternal grandparents, Ella and Bill Turner and his mother-in-law, Nancy Billings preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Donna Billings Dickens Craigo, one daughter, Sarah Faye Chaffin and fiance, Brian Shreve of Oak Hill, three sons, Spc. Michael Shane Craigo and wife, Tiffany of Ft. Campbell, KY, Brian Jacob Dickens of Mullens and Michael Wayne Dickens of Mullens and four sisters, Christina Louisos and husband, Alex of Oak Hill, Heather Foster and husband, Gary of Oak Hill, Stacy Asbury of Oak Hill and Jenny Bragg and husband, Ernie of Eccles. Also surviving are his six grandchildren, Hannah, Justin, Arianna, Jaydon, Aiden and Reagon, his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Harris and his father-in-law, Thomas Billings. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Dave Willis officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Michael Craigo, Brian Shreve, Michael Dickens, Brian Dickens, Paul Wood and Ernie Bragg will serve as pallbearers.
