Richard "Eugene" Dixon

Richard Eugene Dixon, 64, of Minden, WV died on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV following a short illness. Born January 13, 1940 at Minden, WV he was the son of the late William Henry and Willie Dempsey Dixon. He was the former owner of the Fountain Shell Station in Oak Hill. He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Lee Dixon and William Henry Dixon, Jr. Survivors include three daughters by Richard and Lupe Dixon, Cheryl Lynn Blethen and husband, Joseph, of Fort Mill, SC; Nanette Dixon Cabell and husband, M. Charles, of Fort Mill, SC; and Karla Marie Jeffries and husband, Robert, of Hilltop, WV. Brothers, Charles "Cobby" Dixon and wife, Maggie, of Oak Hill and Kenneth Ray Dixon and wife, Susan, of Cincinnati, OH. Sister, Glenda "Sissy" Tetrault and husband, Gary, of Fayetteville and a sister-in-law, Jean Dixon of Oak Hill. He is also survived by six grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Monday, January 19, 2004, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Monday, January 19, 2004, at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
