Richard D. Burgess

Richard Donald Burgess, 61, of Loris, SC formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Saturday, February 26, 2005, at Loris Community Hospital. Born August 17, 1943 at McComas, WV he was the son of the late Billy Donald and Margaret Ann Saunders Burgess. Richard was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV. Survivors include one brother, Jack Burgess and wife, Marsha, of Loris; one sister, Pat Wynne of Seneca, SC; three nephews, Jackie Burgess, Jeremy Burgess and Chip Wynne and one niece, Priscilla Pelfry. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, WV on Saturday, March 5, 2005, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. Graveside rites and committal service will be on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 12:00 pm at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Rev. Mark Hughes officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
