Reva Jean (Hughes) Rowe

Reva Jean Hughes-Rowe, 63, of Sophia, WV. went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 in Raleigh General Hospital.

Born on June 27, 1961 in Sydney, Ohio, Reva was the beautiful daughter of the late Samuel Hughes of Sydney, Ohio and Joyce June Painter of West Virginia.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Edwards and Timothy Edwards.

Those left to cherish he beautiful memory are her three children, daughter, Tara Edwards; son, Derek Hughes; five grandchildren, Hayden Hughes, Adiyah Hughes, Xavier Hughes, Coalson Church, and Amunra Huff; brothers, Larry Hughes, Erin Edwards, and Marlin Edwards, Jr.

Reva loved Jesus Christ with everything in her. She shared God's love with everyone she met. She was  beautiful beacon of God's light, and she loved to help everyone. She loved her children and left the best of herself in them. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart, they were here pride and joy. God, her family, and friends were her life. Her favorite past time was going to church and praising God. She was am Art collector, and had a beautiful eye for it.

Graveside rites with burial to follow will be 2:00 Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Pax Community Cemetery in Pax, WV. Pastor Steven Stover to officiate.

Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
