Raymond Walter "Tom" Hunley, 85, of Mount Hope, WV died on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born February 21, 1929 at Elton, WV he was the son of the late Belfer and Chlora Duncan Hunley. He was a retired coal miner and was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Five brothers, Bob, Bill, Edward, Alfred and Dolphis Hunley and a sister, Virginia Woolwine preceded him in death. Survivors include a sister, Delma Skaggs of Oak Hill; a great nephew, Conway Skaggs of New Zealand and a host of other family and friends as well as his two cherished dogs. Special thanks for Eddie Hunley, Brian Hunley and Lee Skaggs for their loving care. Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral in Mount Hope with Pastor Richard Allen officiating.
