Randy Allen Hornsby

Randy Allen Hornsby  was granted his angel wings on March 27th, 2017. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Randy had touched in some great way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Randy's life would seem too short to many but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile and big heart brought so much joy to our family.

Born December 10, 1958 at Montgomery, WV he was the son of the late William Clayton Hornsby and Inez Marie Rucker Hornsby Orler.

Randy was a graduate of Mount Hope High School. He was a mechanic.

Two brothers, James Hornsby and Gary Hornsby preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, Shawn Hornsby and Richard Hornsby and wife, Ashley; fiance, Ruth Dufour; sisters, Betty Thompson, Sharon Toney and Vicki Walker; and two grandchildren, Aubrey Hornsby and Camryn Hornsby

Services will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1424 East Main Street, Oak Hill with Pastor Damon Davis officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
