Ramona Caroline Huffman

A merciful Father in Heaven has called a very special daughter to return to her Heavenly home.

Ramona Rhodes Huffman quietly passed from this life into the next stage of her eternal existence on October 21, 2016.

She was joyfully greeted on the other side by those who departed this life before her including her husband, Ira Huffman, Jr.; her parents, Sella and Evelyn Rhodes; a brother, Allen Rhodes; a sister, Mona Sue King; and a precious granddaughter, Stephanie Huffman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved children, Cathy O'Neal of Greensboro, NC, April Higginbotham of Oak Hill, Sam (Sally) Huffman of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tim (Sheri) Huffman of Oak Hill, Mark (Judy) Huffman of Oak Hill, and Misty (Kenny) Arnold of Bristol, VA.

Nine Grandchildren, Shane (Gina) O'Neal, Brandy (Michael) Turner, Dustin (Angela) Huffman, Jessica (Chris) Taylor, Kristen Manuel (Brent), Ashleigh Huffman, Engleish Lively, Sammy Drew (Jessica) Huffman, and Shannon Huffman; and eleven great grandchildren survive..

Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Pete Lokant officiating. Entombment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Oak Hill.

Visitation for friends will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
