Ralph Grimmett, Sr.

Ralph Edward Grimmett, Sr., 66, of Warren, OH died Sunday, January 4, 2004, at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, OH Born October 16, 1937 at Ansted, WV he was the son of the late Fred Grimmett, Sr. and Leona Garnett Grimett. Mr. Grimmett was retired in January 1999 as a crane operator for Warren Consolidated Industries. He formerly worked for Republic Steel - L.T.V. He enjoyed his grandchildren, collecting family photos and model cars. He is survived by his wife, Thelma Thomas Grimmett, whom he married on December 13, 1961. Also surviving are sons: Timothy (Terri) Grimmett of Cortland, OH and Ralph (Jamie) Grimmett, Jr. of Warren, OH; daughters: Kimberly (Tod) Bruce and Theresa (Gary) Brubaker all of Warren and Renee (Doug) Turner of Howland, OH; brothers, Garman Grimmett and his wife, Corina, of Oak Hill, WV and Fred Grimmett, Jr. of Warren; and a sister, Helen Layou of Rockville, MD. Also surviving are grandchildren, April, Samantha, Brittany, McKenzie, Andrew, Sabrina and Mason. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2004 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Carl W. Hall Funeral Service in Warren, OH. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 8, 2004, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sager Memorial Park in Warren, OH.
