Ralph D. Deal, Sr.

Ralph David Deal Sr., 62, of Bradley, WV died on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born October 13, 1947 at Kilsyth, WV he was the son of the late Rodney Charles and Margie Marie Oliver Deal, Sr.. He was a retired coal miner and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era. Survivors include wife, Christine Lambert Deal; sons, Ralph Deal, Jr. and wife, Valerie of Chesapeake, VA, Doug Deal and wife, Amy of Bradley, Roger Lambert and wife, Lisa of Beckley and Matthew Kirk of Bradley ; daughters, Regina Williams and husband, David of Beckley, Angel Conn and husband, David of Arnett, Tammy Kirk and fiance, William Terrell of Beckley and Melinda Skipper and husband, Charles David of Mount Hope; sister, Donna Deal Stell of Hampton, VA and a brother, Charles R. Deal, Jr. and wife, Beverly of Weaverville, NC. Also surviving are grandchildren, Cody Deal, Bethany Deal, Lane Deal, Alexandra Deal, Halston Deal, Dakota Williams, Addisyn Williams, Haley Lambert, Emily Ames, Dillion Conn, Tyler Conn, Brian Conn, Logan Conn, Brittany Kirk, Tyrone Terrell, Makayla Redden, Emma Skye Skipper and a granddaughter he really took to and was his favorite, Cortney Conn. Services will be on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Rev. Charlie Lilly officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens., Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
