Phyllis L. Sears

Phyllis Lorraine Deitz Sears, 75, a longtime resident of the Manor House Apartments of Beckley, WV died on Wednesday, November 07, 2007 at Hilltop Center in Hilltop, WV. Born May 04, 1932 at Wright, WV she was the daughter of the late Hiram J. and Pricie P. Moore Deitz. Mrs. Sears was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church, Red Star and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lundy Allen Sears on September 22, 1969; two sons, infant Allen Sears and Larry Settle; one daughter, Sue Hatcher; two sisters, Margaret and Shirley and five brothers, Lawrence, Ralph, Darrell, Robert and Thomas. Survivors include sons, Ronald Sears and wife, Della of Harvey, WV and Paul Sears and wife, Kim of Harvey, WV; one daughter, Patricia Shuemake and husband, Eddie of Beards Fork, WV and four sisters, Ruth Farrish of Beckley, WV, Wanda Camp and Ruby Bennett both of New Jersey and Gladys Cox of Beckley, WV. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Pamette, Adam, Jennifer, Jason, Brandon, Amanda, Amber, Aaliyah, Colton, Kyle, Taylor, Jonathan, Abigail, Brandon, Michael, Samantha, Kiersten and Baylee Services will be on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Randy Sunderland officiating. Burial will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Hilltop WV. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
