Penny Jo Shelton Arrington , 62, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born March 22, 1953 at Mount Hope, WV she was the daughter of Virginia Davis Shelton of Summerlee, WV and the late Eugene Shelton.
Penny worked at Tom's Carryout and was a member of the Dothan Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Penny is survived by two daughters, April Hogston of Hilltop and Cindy Arrington of Summerlee; three brothers, Ed Shelton, Jr. of Kentucky, Richard Shelton of Summerlee, and Chris Shelton of Oak Hill; six sisters, Jewell Miller of Georgia, Donna Criss of Ohio, Patty Boyd of Prosperity, Cathy Styers of Oak Hill, Jenny Basham of Virginia and Terri Ford of Virginia; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Lum Toney officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
