Peggy Willis

Peggy Willis passed into the loving arms of our savior Sunday morning, December 21, 2003, after a short stay at Plateau Medical Center. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. Willis; her long-time companion, Robert James; and her parents and sisters and brothers. Originally from Layland, WV Peggy was a homemaker and loving mother. She has been well known in her community as a great Sunday School teacher and worked diligently as a Bible School Teacher. Peggy is survived by one sister, Helen Hall of Layland. Daughter, Phyllis Holly, her companion, Johnnie Mann, and Emmy Holly Proskin, her granddaughter and helpmate and her fiance, Joe Smith. Daughter, Linda Stover, and son-in-law, Ken Pyle, from Ostrander, Ohio and grandchildren, John and Diane Stover, Deborah and Mark Green, Robert and Regina Stover, Marvin and Debbie Stover, Theresa and Kevin Farley and James and Stephanie Stover and twenty-four great grandchildren. Daughter, Ellen Turner, from Dublin, Ohio and Peggy's grandson, Mike Joseph. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2003, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 27, 2003, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill, WV with Rev. Robert Stover officiating. Entombment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill.
