Pearl E. Tennant

Pearl Ellen Tennant, 97, of Hilltop, WV died on Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following a long illness. Born May 03, 1907 at Raleigh, WV she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Mary Susan Withrow Tennant. Miss Tennant was a member of the Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Homer Elzie Tennant, John A. Tennant, Dave Tennant and Saul Tennant; and a sister, Virgie Tennant. Survivors include nephews: Oscar Tennant of Oak Hill, Jerry Tennant of Oak Hill and Sonny Tennant of Mullens; nieces: Sue Shields of Mullens, Phyllis Gillespie of Mullens, Francella Tennant of Mullens, Dotsie Covey of Surveyor, Phoba Bostic of Montgomery and Nancy Fowler of Bedford, PA. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Friday, December 31, 2004 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, December 31, 2004, at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
