Pearl (Lucas) Cantley

Pearl Lucas Cantley, 86, of Glen Daniel passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at CAMC Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill with her family by her side.

Born May 13, 1938 in Damron, WV she was the daughter of the late, Ace and Virginia Underwood Lucas.

Pearl was a homemaker and in her leisure she enjoyed watching her favorite shows, The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family whom she loved deeply.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Cantley; sons, Charles Ray Cantley and Jody Cantley; and several brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving children, Rhonda Maynor (Keith), Carlos Roger Cantley (Peggy), Norman Cantley, Lewis Cantley, and Bryan Cantley; a special grandson, Bryan Keith Cantley, II; twelve grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Leon Lucas; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service with burial to follow will be 2:00 PM on Saturday September 14, 2024 at the Cantley Cemetery, Rock Creek with Pastor Donald Holt officiating. 

Those wishing to attend the graveside are asked to meet at the cemetery.
