Pearl Elizabeth Holley Lafferty

Our loving mother and grandmother, Pearl Elizabeth Holley Lafferty , 91, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the home of her daughter and caregiver, Debra and Jimmy Richmond Born November 25, 1922 at Kanawha County, WV she was the daughter of the late Will and Ocie Grass Holley. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her husband, Denny Ray Lafferty; daughter, Harstel Gay Dunbar; sons, Denny Ray Lafferty, Jr., Mickey Lafferty and Ricky Lafferty; brother, Orbie Holley and sisters, Reba Walton, Helen Ryder Jones and Louise Williams preceded her in death. Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Drema Kay Gray and husband, Richard of Harper and Debra Richmond and husband, Jimmy of Oak Hill. Thought Pearl cherished and loved each and every one of her family members there were her grandchildren and caregivers, Kimberly and Matthew Gill, Misty and Jeremy Simms, Ricky Richmond, Sandra and Steve Drennen and LeAnn Drennen all of Oak Hill. Pearl is survived by her eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, fifteen great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Herbert Hatfield officiating. Burial will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Prosperity. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Grandson, Lloyd Dunbar, Stephen Hitchcock, Stephen Drennen, Matt Gill, Jeremy Simms, Jimmy Richmond and Richard Gray will serve as pallbearers.
