Known to many as Granny and Mrs. Shoemaker, Pauline Sanders Keffer , 92, of The Villages, FL formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, August 09, 2011 at her home. She had fallen in early June and broke her hip, an injury from which she never recovered. Born October 20, 1918 at Tamroy, WV she was the daughter of the late Charles Lester and Myrtle Powell Sanders. Pauline was a loving wife and mother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Brown, second husband, Alfonso "Shoemaker" Cantalupo and her third husband, Charles Basil Keffer, sons, Vincenzo Cantalupo and George Cantalupo and grandsons, John Bragg and George Allen Cantalupo. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Franklin Brown and wife, Barbara of Texas, two daughters, Connie M. Bragg of Oak Hill and Josephine Cooper and husband, Jerry, of Florida , stepdaughters, Gladys Pack of Oak Hill and Linda Lewis of Michigan, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Rev. Rudell Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
