Paul Perry

Paul Hudgin Perry Sr., 89, of Oak Hill, WV passed away peacefully with his family present, on Friday, December 12, 2003 at Hilltop Healthcare Center in Hilltop, WV following an extended illness. Born October 20, 1914 at Man, WV he was the son of the late Cecil H. and Nancy Wooten Perry. Mr. Perry was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV. He was a retired Project Supervisor for the WV Dept of Highways and coal miner. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Hazel Ernestine Downey Perry Daughters: Nancy Elkins and husband, James R., of Oak Hill Mabel Elizabeth Jeffries and husband, Robert, of Charleston, SC Son: Paul H. Perry, Jr. and wife, Colleen, of Springfield, VA Sister: Mary Elizabeth Avis of Beckley 7 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren and by three very special people whose love, devotion and care will never be forgotten: Dorothy Ward, Linda Cooper and JoAnn Arrington. Services and burial were private with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial was at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Altzheimers Association, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or the Humane Society.
