Paul E. Humphrey

Paul E. Humphrey, 68, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, January 04, 2005 at his home following a short illness. Born July 24, 1936 at Pax, WV he was the son of the lateS. Ralph, Sr. and Mayme Gertrude Warren Humphrey. He was a retired produce clerk for Krogers. Paul was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper. He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Humphrey and brothers, Jimmy Dale and Kenneth Humphrey. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Margaret Sampson Humphrey; sons: Jeff Humphrey and wife, Annette, of High Point, NC and Russ Humphrey and wife, Cindy, of Greensboro, NC; brothers: S. Ralph Humphrey, Sr. of Ripley and Patrick Warren Humphrey of Cool Ridge; grandchildren: Christy Payne, Bobby Craven, Travis Humphrey and John Humphrey. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Thursday, January 6, 2005, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Friday, January 7, 2005, at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill WV. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1472, Beckley WV 25802 .
