Paul Calvin Elliott

Paul C. Elliott, 86, of Oak Hill, WV died on Tuesday, December 09, 2014 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born April 14, 1928 at Blue Jay, WV he was the son of the late James D. and Grace Jane Smith Elliott.
He graduated from Shady Spring High School in 1946, and was a retired line foreman for Appalachian Power/AEP. Mr. Elliott was a member of the Oak Hill United Methodist Church. He was a US Navy veteran.
Two brothers, Ray Elliott and Omar Elliott and seven sisters, Bridgie Moye, Belva James, Eula Carter, Paula Workman, Maxine Bartlett, Fairy Skelton and Nedra Jones preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Marie Hudson Elliott; two sons, Richard (Sue) Elliott of Eleanor and Michael (Deedra) Elliott of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Debra Alloway of Powell, OH; and one sister, Lorena Trail of Beaver.
He is also survived by six grandchildren, Heather Maxwell, Stephanie White, Jacob Elliott, Coleson Elliott, Jim Alloway and Justin Alloway; and five great grandchildren, Callie Raines, Thomas Maxwell, Hailey Maxwell, Justin G. Alloway and Cameron Alloway.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Hill United Methodist Church. Entombment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at Prosperity. Friends may call from 12:30 P.M. until service time on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association ( www.alz.org ), PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or the Oak Hill United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
