Paul Franklin Comer, 64, of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV after a long battle with cancer. Born February 20, 1940 at Beards Fork, WV he was the son of the late Frank and Dorothy McKinney Comer. He was a retired electrician for Central Appalachian Coal at Morris Creek. Mr. Comer attended the Mossy Worship Center and the Summerlee Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the UMWA. Survivors include wife, Connie Kincaid Comer; son, Ricky Comer and wife, Teresa, of Hico; two daughters, Pamels Blake of Charleston, SC and Angela Pyatt and husband, Rick, of Oak Hill; stepdaughter, Sherry Jenkins and husband, Larry, of Cherryville, NC; two brothers, Thomas Comer and wife, Marbel, of Canvas and Wayne Kirk and wife, Sherry, of Hansford; four sisters, Nancy Miller and husband, Leonard, of Lago Vista, TX, Dorothy Murdock and husband, Charles, of Neptune Beach, FL, Wanda Angel of Beards Fork and Debbie Spurlock and husband, Carlos, of Beards Fork. Also survived by ten grandchildren, Jimmy and Jackie Shell; Jennifer, Amy, Amanda, Josh and Brittany Comer; Mariah, Elijah and Noah Pyatt; and step granddaughter, Brianna Jenkins. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, April 2, 2004, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 3, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Terry Camron and Rev. Paul Allen officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
