Paul Jerry Brown, 79, of New Smyrna Beach, FL died on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the home of his care givers in Daytona Beach, FL. Born July 28, 1925 at Fayetteville, WV he was the son of the late Paul Alexander and Mary Fox Brown. Mr. Brown was retired from real estate development and antique retail sales. He owned and operated Brown Fox Village and Brown Fox Motel in New Smyrna Beach. Paul was a graduate of Marshall University, Huntington, WV. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. Survivors include a brother, Joseph M. Brown of Starkville, Miss; a sister, Mary Jane Songer and husband, Jim, of Tequesta, FL and Beckley, WV and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be on Friday, April 15, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Diarmuid O'Hara officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery, Rt 1 Fayetteville, WV.
