Patsy R. Rutledge

Patsy Ruth Williams Rutledge, 81, of Pax, WV died on Sunday, June 07, 2009 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born January 16, 1928 at Long Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eva Pettry Williams. Mrs. Rutledge was a member of the Long Branch United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, French Alvon Rutledge; two brothers, Phil Williams and Ronald Williams and seven sisters, Mary Susan Lafferty, Lyda Brehm, Myrtle Sweeney, Barbara McCune, Opal Weatherford Christine "Crick" Perdue and Hazel Kessler. Survivors include daughter, Ann Horton of Charlotte, NC; three sons, Don Rutledge of Long Branch, Ron Rutledge of High Point, NC and Mike Rutledge of Mount Hope and a sister-in-law, Celia Williams of Fayetteville. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Steven Rutledge, Michelle Rutledge, Ashley Rutledge and Kelli Rutledge; three great-grandchildren, Skylar, Bryli and Brady and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be on June 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Dock Lively Cemetery in Long Branch. with Rev. Chalmer Abrams officiating. Burial will be at the Dock Lively Cemetery, Long Branch.
