Patrick David Slaven , 73, of Stoughton, MA formerly of Oak Hill, WV died on Wednesday, March 09, 2011 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA. Born October 17, 1937 at Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Garnet and Masil Crawford Slaven. Pat was a 1954 graduate of Collins High School in Oak Hill and attended West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery. He was a civil engineer. He is survived by a sister, Sue Thomas and her husband, Walter of Stoughton, MA. Graveside rites and committal services will be on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill with Pastor Bill Parker officiating. Burial will follow.
