Pamela E. Rhodes

Pamela Estella Rhodes , 45, of , Summerlee, WV died on Wednesday, May 02, 2007 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV following a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 02, 1962 at Beckley, WV she was the daughter of William E. "Buzzy" and Marcelline Mullens Rhodes of Summerlee, WV. She was a disabled waitress for Mt. Laurel Restaurant of Fayetteville. Ms. Rhodes attended the Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill, WV. She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Jeff Davis. Additional survivors include her son, Jason William Rhodes and his wife, Lori of Summerlee, WV; three sisters, Barbara Bell and husband, Teddy of Oak Hill, WV, Nancy Thomas and husband, Roscoe of Summerlee, WV and Peggy Davis of Beaver, WV. Pamela is also survived by the love of her life and reason for living, her grandson, William Lee Rhodes as well as two nieces, four nephews and eight great nieces and nephews and special cousins, John Philip Whitmore and Shannon Coley. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Saturday, May 5, 2007, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. Services will be on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Cremation will follow.
