With her family and two close friends by her side, the angels came and took our dear Pamela Sue Dillon to Heaven on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She went to be with her Lord and her loved ones. Pamela was born in Illinois on February 22, 1960. She had been sick for a long time and could no longer do the things she loved. Things like raising her garden, working in her flowers and cooking. She also loved taking care of her two dogs, Courtney and Katie. As a fan of country and gospel music she played CDs quite a lot which gave her a great deal of peace. Her paternal grandparents, Mark and Lilly Newhouse, maternal grandparents, Blair and Georgia Dillon, several aunts and uncles and three very special people in her life, Mamie Casey, Wilford Adkins and Gary Fannin all preceded her in death as did her biological parents, Wallace Jack and Vona Louise Newhouse Dillon. Survivors include her loving mother Carol Adkins of Cirtsville, who was by her side throughout, brothers, Christopher Adkins of Cirtsville and John Mullens of Cirtsville, sister, Debbie Holmes of Oak Hill and a nephew, C.J. Bowyer of Oak Hill. She is also survived by an aunt whom she loved very much, Carolyn Newhouse of Kincaid, an uncle, John Dillon of Page as well as Russell and Debbie Walker of Kincaid, Jenny and Gary Taylor of Kincaid, Thomas Dillon of Kincaid, Russell Walker, Jr. and wife, Stephanie and their girls of Kincaid and two little nephews, Andrew and Hunter of Kincaid. Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Ken Souder officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Online condolences may be sent at
