Oscar Keith Williams

Oscar Keith Williams, 64, of Union, WV died on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV. Born April 29, 1939 at Long Branch, WV he was the son of the late Clate and Rene Saye Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of the Light House Church of God, Union, WV and graduated from Pax High School in May 1957. He served in the US Army from 1958-1964. Survivors include his children, Rachel Faye Williams of Montgomery, Sara Williams Harris of Bradley, Brian Wilson of Danville, VA, Heather Adkins of Hinton, Jana MacDonald of Covington, GA, Keith "Moon" Williams of Mount Hope; brother, Darrell "Budgie" Williams and wife, Jan, of Mount Hope; sisters, Sonia Weeks and husband, Hugh, of Beckley, Shelia Williams of Pax and Sharon Holstein and husband, Steve, of Pax; 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is also survived by a special caregiver, Gladys Christian of Union. Visitation will be held at Light House Church of God, Union on Friday, April 23, 2004 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and on Saturday, April 24, 2004, at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Services will be on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Mount Hope with Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating. Burial will be at Dock Lively Cemetery, Long Branch WV. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
